It was here where we began to see some of that Bam-Bam flare ad the #51 pulled alongside Andrew Short. After making it by, both Barcia and Nicoletti started the hunt towards the front. Unfortunately, a freshly rested Trey Canard made it by pushing Barcia, again, back to 6th. Near the end of the moto, as the 41 and 51 marched over the finish line with three laps left to go, Barcia mysteriously took a mid-air moment to relax, recover and relinquish the rage on the back wheel of the Team Honda vet, eventually pushing Canard to his breaking point. As a result, Justin motored into 5th and took it home to earn a 4-5 for 5th overall.
