Having qualified 12th, Osborne didn’t seem to stoked on the setup in Millville and has struggled at the venue in the past. Despite the slow start on Saturday morning though, Osborne rode the start of moto one strong after being lost in the sea of speed out of the gate. Finally coming up to gasp for air in 7th place as the moto
participants collectively caught their groove, Osborne began to put in his work. After the first few laps, Osborne gained some momentum and the 6th spot after he got by the Star Racing Yamaha of Aaron Plessinger, who had been left behind by his brethren up front. Holding down 5th, Osborne went down in a corner due to his back tire going on Red Alert lock-down, preventing the Husqvarna from continuing. Forced to pull out and head back to the truck, Osborne’s only thoughts were on the moto two gate drop.
