JUSTIN BOGLE

Justin Bogle’s rookie 450 campaign has not gone according to plan. The Geico Honda rider has shown
flashes of his true potential but nagging injuries have hindered him from completely emerging. It all
began even before the supercross when Bogle broke his foot practicing in December. That injury lingered with him to the start of the season and he still was not 100%. He then suffered a concussion at round two and he and the team decided it was best to sit out until he was back to being completely healthy. It took about a month but he came back and gradually progressed finishing the season strong. He aimed to continue his momentum into the outdoor season but a non-racing related
cut to his hand held him back from the get go. Once that healed he started riding well and grabbing literally every single holeshot. All that added up to him leading the first half of the 450 moto at Southwick and finishing a career best fourth. He looked fresh and rejuvenated in the Southwick sand but disaster struck in the second moto when he went down in a heap while charging back from an early crash. He got pretty banged up and he and the team decided it was best for him to sit out Millville and focus on coming back the following week at Washougal.
