Christophe Pourcel has quietly been in the midst a very consistent 2016 outdoor season. The rider hailing from France struggled initially at the first two rounds of the series but he has been on the upward trend ever since. Just like he has all throughout his career, he has been lightning fast in practice snagging a few pole positions at the first seven rounds. Although he has not been able to
match that speed in the motos, he has been getting closer with each race. He’s hovered in and around the top five spots consistently for the past four races and is inching closer to those coveted podium positions. Many thought that Pourcel was done after his three-year hiatus from American racing but since his return, he has put together some impressive results including a 250 class win back in 2014. Despite all the treacherous injuries that Pourcel has dealt with throughout his career, he has stayed as crafty as ever and is once again finding his rhythm.
