RYDER STARICK
Brentwood, California’s Ryder Starick made the trek from his west coast home to the battlegrounds of Texas
for Spring A Ding Ding and the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship. The teenager would face a plethora of competition at Underground MX, but would ultimately rise to the occasion
in the form of multiple third place finishes, resulting in a spectacular second place overall in the 250 C Jr. division. Under a week later, Starick made the small jaunt to Freestone County Raceway for the next battle at hand and it was clear that he gath- ered some serious momentum from Spring A Ding Ding when the week got underway. Starick began with two third place finishes that would put him in good standing for the second motos, but he encountered some misfortune that didn’t allow him to finish the week. Nonetheless, Starick proved his speed and determination throughout the week at Underground MX and it’s safe to say that he’ll be back with a ven- geance at the next races he chooses to attend.
CULLIN PARK
Multiple podium, top five, and top
ten finishes, on the amateur national motocross circuit, aren’t exactly a walk in the park. To do the aforementioned, throughout the course of one year, is considered outstanding. Now accu- mulating those results, for a decade? Simply phenomenal. Look no further than Cullin Park, a Floridian at heart, ravaging through the thick marshlands of the southern territory. He relishes
in the most rugged conditions, lead- ing by example, with eight top ten finishes at the Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National, since 2007. Finishing on
the podium, aboard a 50cc automatic machine, he went against statistics, and continued his dominance, once he climbed onto the manual transmis- sion. He’s engulfed in a constant sea of shifting, through both elite mental awareness, and every ounce of RPM his motor will ring out. He’s caught the eye of many throughout the past few years, and is itching to place his name in record books for years to come.
