traditionally brings out the best of the best and with over forty years under their belts, this is one of the most highly respected events in amateur motocross... We take a look back at the
ones that “Overate” last year at Gatorback Cycle Park during the
competition at the 2015 installment of the Mini O’s at Gatorback Cycle Park. Forkner and his Monster Energy Pro Circuit backed Kawasaki arrived
in Florida ready to handle business. Austin’s Dunlop’s were roasting during the Supercross portion of the week, nabbing up six out of eight Expert wins. Forkner’s efforts carried him into outdoor competition with three Supercross titles and heaps of momentum behind his sails. Forkner worked the track tirelessly once again, this time on the wide open motocross style track. Austin’s perseverance and determination boosted him to an additional seven podiums, five of which were moto wins. When all was said and done, Forkner would leave the Mini O’s with six national titles including the 250 A, 450 A, and 450 Pro Sport outdoor championships as well as the 250 Pro Sport, 250 A, and 450 A classes in Supercross. Austin also grabbed the Dunlop Silver Tire Award for his beastly rides throughout the long week in Florida. As the #214 nears closer to his eventual professional debut, he continues to look more polished with every ride as he slices the final pieces off of his incredible amateur career.
