>> Fredrik Noren is, like many, a privateer searching for a way to make it to the next round after each race. With the many connections, he has made over the years in the US he was able to get together a bike for the 2017 season of Outdoors, never giving up on his dreams. Proving each weekend that he has what it takes to make it onto a team, Noren is putting in the work it takes. Qualifying 14th into the day, he was go- ing to need to find some speed on the high altitude track to get into the top ten. Charging out of the gate Noren was 12th around the first turn of moto one. Looking comfortable on his privateer effort Honda, Noren was quick to make the charge forward moving up to 10th by the sec- ond lap. Weston Peick had caught him shortly after, moving him back into 11th place. Going back and forth throughout the moto Noren was able to keep the competition at bay and hang on to his 11th place spot through to the end of the race. A strong finish for the privateer in moto one, matching his best moto finish so far, this season. The start of the second moto didn’t go as well for Fredrik Noren getting hung up in the crowd leaving him back in 32nd around the first turn. With an insane amount of ground to cover and what seems like a long time, but really isn’t Noren had his work cut out for him in moto two. Riding the track like there was no tomorrow, Noren was flying making passes left and right. By the time the second moto was half way over he had moved
all the way up to 16th. Staying consistent and smooth he was able to steal one last pass before the end of the race finishing up in 15th. Rid- ing an impressive 11-15 for the day, Fredrik Noren finished with a hard earned 14th overall result.
