Jimmy Albertson worked hard through the tough mud during qualifying to gain himself the 20th spot going into the night show. The track changing immensely from qualifying to racing it was like riding an entirely different track when it came time for the heat races. Drying out and most of the mud being pushed aside it was a lot easier to get the power to the ground and gain the trac-
tion needed to throw that speed down. Albertson’s heat race went well, starting the race off around 12th place not too far out from a transfer position. On lap three he had moved himself up to tenth place, just one spot shy of the ticket into the main. As the race neared it’s end Albertson was able to make the passes necessary to put him into the main event finishing ninth. The Motorcycle Superstore Suzuki rider got a killer start off the gate of the 250 main event, putting himself in fifth right off the get go. As the race went on he slowly found himself falling farther and farther back. Sitting around fourteenth about halfway though the race, Albertson worked his hardest to get himself back into that top ten. Unable to put it all together he finished sixteenth in the Main Event and sits in twentieth in the points chase.
