He ended up breaking many bones and even bruising his lungs. Dakota’s hopes for completing the series healthy were over but he set his sights on healing up and coming back strong. With less than a week on the bike, Dakota set out for Indianapolis and was able to give it is all. Unfor- tunately he did not make the Main while trying to ride injured. He went on to St. Louis with high hopes but crashes kept him from getting into the Main. Dakota ended up re injuring his shoulder and will sit out the remainder of 2016 Supercross. Look for a healthy Dakota to come back 100% next season.
