Aaron Plessinger has quickly ascended to stardom this season. The new fan favorite took a dif- ferent path to supercross than most other riders. Growing up racing with Aaron, I can tell you that from a young age, he had the talent to make it big. Racing GNCC and doing woods riding all while
hitting big amateur motocross races kept his horizons wide and gave him invaluable experience.
The GNCC style riding helped mold his style and skill on a bike you don’t necessarily see from the other riders. He is able to put the bike into spots you normally wouldn’t think of and finds different and unique lines to work through a section. It’s like poetry in motion when he is on the bike. Now in his second season in supercross, he finds himself right in the thick of the championship battle just one spot behind Geico Honda rider Malcolm Stewart. He has remained consistent throughout the season so far even notching his first career win in front of family and friends in Indianapolis. The fans may be surprised to see Aaron so successful this early in his career but he and his support group aren’t at all. He puts in the work during the week just as hard and maybe even harder than anyone else. Now with just three rounds to go, Aaron will look to take control of the points lead and grab some race wins along the way. It looks like it will be a mudder in Foxboro and Aaron is an excellent mud rider... Will we see more dance moves with Gronk in Gillette?
