In the midst of a less than stellar supercross season, Shane McElrath and his TLD KTM are on a quest to find last year’s formula that helped him earn 2nd in the championship hunt behind Cooper Webb. It may not be a matter of not having the ingredients as the orange and
blue #30 struck a setback with a broken wrist during his pre-season preparations. Having raced along the West coast the last two years, it was a result of the injury that McElrath even finds himself racing on the East side of the prestigious series. Now six rounds deep, Shane is still feeling the aftermath. With two rounds to go before the bets are placed in Vegas, Shane planned to leave a mark in Foxborough before heading to New York.
