Hey... hey, quick, look at the number sixty-one on the green bike down there getting his gate
ready, have you seen how fast he’s been the last few weeks? His name’s Gannon Audette and the kid has been sending it on his privateer ride lately. After running into a poor showing his rookie year, he’s finally reaching that contender- potential everyone witnessed during his years back at the amateur level. He had made his pro-debut for Star Racing Yamaha back in 2011 and after missing the next two seasons due to injuries, he’s faced mediocre results with a 18th in 2014 and a 17th in 2015. Bouncing back this season, though, Audette’s been inside the top-10 in all but the first two rounds, showing the speed, the tenacity and the grit over the last four rounds to secure 6th place in the standings where he currently sits. Last weekend in Foxborough marked the first of two more rounds before Vegas and Gavin is just getting warmed up.
