TREY CANARD
Possibly one of the more underrated racers on the starting gate, Trey Canard has been riddled with
injuries since beginning his 450 career back in 2011. Having ridden Honda’s since his induction into the professional ranks, Trey’s 250 career was full of an SX championship in 2008, his first full season, and an outdoor title in 2010, predicting Canard
to be a heavy hitter for years to come. After making the transition into the big bike class, replacing an injured Andrew Short, 2011 saw Trey ride brilliantly onto the podium multiple times before breaking his femur near seasons end. In the years following, Trey has battled constant race wounds, whilst trying to maintain the once prodigal form he had before his streak of bad luck began. Now, after missing countless races over the past few seasons, Canard has been able to post consistent finishes near the top-5 but hasn’t been the first to the checkers in some time. Could a new stadium be the mark of a fresh start for the #41? It’s tough to say but with Canard being one of the best in the business, he can never be counted out.
