champion. And after nine solid go-arounds, he would take the checkered flag, being crowned overall king in the 250 Pro Sport di- vision. Ecstatic off of the win, he would bring the heat into the motocross portion of the event, hoping to keep the ball rolling without any halt of interruption. It was something about the aura of the 250 Pro Sport division, where a win would be displayed in the first moto of the outdoor round as well, coupled with a strong third in 450 A. His blitzing of the entire professional field would continue, signing up for 8 individual motos, and never having one showing outside of the top three. Two runner-up positions, both in 250 A
and 450 Pro Sport, would be coupled with outstanding performances in both 250 Pro Sport and 450 A, adding two more titles to his overall collection. Swoll is eager to make his debut, and reiterated why he’s one of the hottest prospects on the market. If he keeps performing in this manner, he should have no problem securing a professional deal for many years to come.
TY MASTERPOOL
motocross community. Generating a facility with a multitude of tracks that accommodate all sorts of riders, they have an emphasis
on safety and methodical procedure when a rider continues to “up” their skill levels. And it’s translated into their own grooming of Ty as well, riding two-stroke machines much longer than most, really dialing in his tech- nique prior to his professional debut, which is seemingly looming in the near future. He’s at home now in the 250 B divisions, and would captivate the
intermediate field with a series of style and precision like no other. Coming out swinging in both the Schoolboy 2, and 450 B divisions, his opening heat race wins would be coupled with solid second place finishes for the runoffs respectively. But it was the 250 B division where it all would come together, and the results board
with gleam with ones.
A holeshot would place him ahead of the likes
of Stilez Robertson and Dilan Schwartz, with two hunters chasing the rear fender of his Yamaha machine. In an all out as- sault of the number 936, they would do all they could in order to make their way around; but it would be to no avail, and Masterpool would hang onto to gleam with joy
as he starched the field claiming the win. Bringing
the momentum into the outdoor round, a third place in the opening Schoolboy 2 heat would set a tone for the rest of the week. Masterpool would then work his magic following this effort, where he was showing he was able to adapt to both 250 and 450, intermediate divisions, and the Schoolboy grouping. Claiming one fourth overall and four silver medals throughout the week, it would all come together in the 250 B class of Supercross. A clean sweep of the field would

have him walking away as champion, and feeling solid about his performances for the 2018 Winter Olympics.
STILEZ ROBERTSON
Penciled in as a serious contender from the beginning of his career, Stilez Robertson has been a staple on the amateur tour for the better part of a decade now. From the automatic 50cc machines, now to the brink of professionalism, he’s been on the radar

There are many different strategies to suc- cess being told and displayed throughout the realm of amateur motocross, especially in recent memory. With training facilities, nutri- tionists, and aids of all kinds almost being at the disposal of these riders, it is almost the norm to fall into the same pattern, if you want to be a contender this day in age. However, the Masterpool camp out of Paradise, Texas, has transplanted their Nevada roots and headed south to be staples in the Texas
for sponsors and fans alike for numerous years. A “Team Green” prospect for much of the last few years, the number 325 has dealt with the transition to the full size machine rather well. He’s followed the winning ways of his younger days, and came into the 2018 Winter Olympics with the rage and will to win. The drive from Bakersfield would be worth it, when all was said and done with Supercross especially. Signing up for three different classes, he would walk away from each particular division with a heat race
win, sitting pretty for the runoffs. Proving
that his qualifying antics weren’t a joke, he would back up his initial performances with
a fourth place overall in Schoolboy 2, and 250 B, where he would finish an astounding second. He would be in constant battle with riders like Masterpool and Schwartz, dicing
it up with the fellow top contenders every time his tread hit the raceway. Being the true champion that he is though, he wanted to solidify himself as an outdoor staple as well. And as the gate would drop for Schoolboy
2, he would take no prisoners on this rugged Gatorback course. Placed in heat two, his lead would continue to grow with every pass- ing and lap, and a win would be signaled
