RESULTS DONOT LIE
Yamaha 450. Shooting out of the gate like a cannon, he would steam roll the field, leaving all in attendance with their jaw dropped in disbelief. He would claim yet another win as the checkered flag would fly, and walk away from Supercross with two titles in totality. Thanking everyone in his corner on the po- dium, Colton was extremely thankful that all who had aided him to get here. No sponsor, neither too big or too small, was overlooked, reiterating why Colton is such as fan favorite and a rider many companies are eager to
for the holiday week, as a place to show just what his talent could do, aboard the right piece of equipment. Coming into the week, Kessler knew he could be a contender, if he could nail his starts, limit his mistakes, and maintain his composure with a strong pack around him. And as the week would continue to roll on, his finishes would reflect the hard work in which he’s put in throughout the course of the year. The number 51 would throw his name into the hat for three different classes, and when all was said and done
for the Supercross chunk of the event, would walk away with three respectable top ten finishes. A solid eighth, and seventh in the Schoolboy 2 and 250 B classes, would be the build-up, so to speak, for
a climactic run in the 250 B Limited division. A solid start to begin, he would contest with the top runners of the class, including the likes of Eigen- mann. Hounding the leader
to the best of his abilities, he would find himself somewhat cemented in the runner-up position, being approved by his mechanic with every go around. And finally, on the last lap, he knew just one more go-around was between he and his best finish so far of the week.
He would do it, com-
ing across the line
second for the run-off
portion, and generat-
ing a silver medal
position as the SX
segment of the event
would conclude. His
steam would continue
to pour out of both
helmet and locomo-
tive as he plowed and
chugged through the
intermediate divisions
of the motocross land-
scape. A first in the
250 B limited class,
and second in School-
boy 2, had him sitting
pretty as the week
would begin to come
into the latter stages.
After winning a few of the first moto’s in the motocross sector of the event, Kessler would put it all together yet again in the Schoolboy 2 division, taking fifth overall.
JEREMY RYAN
With the season of autumn being associ- ated with the color orange, the holidays of Halloween and Thanksgiving seem to glow with the thought of the aforementioned secondary hue. And as teams and sponsors alike rolled into the premises of Gatorback for the 2018 event, you couldn’t help but notice the presence of the Orange Brigade and KTM Squad throughout the pits. One of their most highly touted prospects, Jeremy Ryan, would choose to sign-up for the event, making the trek all the way from Morgan Hill, California. Choosing to take on the event
in both 125 2-stroke divisions, and 250 B limited classes, he was in for a tough fight once the gate would fall. But the number
ten had been tested many times throughout his career, and knew that he could handle anything thrown his way for this particular event. Feeling comfortable with the techni- cality of the Supercross track, three top five finishes would be listed beside his name once the heat races would be done. But he would truly flip the switch as the gate would fall for the run-off, having a true sink or swim mentality as he dove into the swamps of the this peninsula territory known as northern Florida. Two third place finishes would be his highlights for the 250 B limited class, riding as strong as ever in a pack full of serious contenders. But he would truly excel in the well-known Schoolboy 1 division, aboard the

sponsor. And although many in the area new the raw speed the number 815 possessed, many in attendance weren’t sure that he was capable of this. But man, once leaving the SX portion of the event for good, all had their eye on Eigenmann, putting him down as a serious contender for any race in which he contested from here on out.
JACE KESSLER
As the Husqvarna brand has made it’s way back into the world of motocross over the past few years, their assault on the scene hasn’t been anything other than a blitzkrieg so to speak. Hiring some of the best riders
in the world to be aboard their machinery, their representatives of the brand have come through with flying colors, year after year, event after event. With the likes of Jason An- derson and Zach Osborne leading the way on the professional scene, riders like Jalek Swoll, and the highlighted Jace Kessler have shown the amateur would, just how fast this particular brand is as well. And Kessler, hail- ing from Eagle, Michigan, plotted this event
125-premix machine. Right on the cusp of taking the lead from Gage Linville, he would fight tooth and nail to solidify his position at the front of the field. He would actually set
