truly wanted to prove his worth. Coming out of the gate in the 450 C Limited division, he would hover near the cusp of the top ten, and with each passing lap, continue to move toward the front. Once all was said and done, the young man sporting the number 57 Husqvarna, would go on to claim the ninth position. Deep down though, he want- ed redemption, eyeing the 450 C class for a place of revival. Second from the get go, he would stalk Evan Haimowitz out front, pres- suring him in a rampant fashion. Searching far and wide for a place to make a move,
he was truly doing all he could as the track would get rougher and rougher. Hugging
ing across the country, riders like DJ Weber have an outstanding crew behind them, will- ing to do whatever necessary in order for the athlete to chase their dreams. He’s shown to all around him over the past few years, that he’s willing to work at his craft, and has ex- ceptional talent aboard the motorcycle. And in return, seeing what effort he’s put towards this sport of motocross, they’ve offered to travel and back him in one hundred percent fashion, while he chases his dreams. With this week, the family heading to Florida,
they hoped and aspired to make this trip worthwhile, missing the holiday from their native, Scottsdale, Arizona. And from the
get go, DJ would reassure them, being an exceptional standout throughout prac- tice, as he was one of the first on the track, clearing these sections with ease. It would lead him to the
that he must get out to a strong jump, while dodging all types of traffic, it would all come together in the 450 C class. It was here,
that the pieces would be placed together, and he would obliterate this rutted Florida limestone. Neck and neck with the leaders from the absolute get go, he would settle into the third spot in the closing moments
of the race. Never looking around, and only keeping his vision focused forward, he eyed the black and white striped flag acting as the light at the end of the tunnel. And he would do it, those hopes and dreams relishing with a third place overall, something to truly be proud of by weeks end. He would also go onto prove and reiterate his worth on the motocross track, coming away with strong showings of multiple sixth place overalls.

Every bit of praise was well earned and deserved, as he just finish in a silver medal spot, amongst some of the hottest young talent from around the country. portion of the event. Walking way from the heat races with an outstanding ballot of two wins, and two third place finishes, he looked to duplicate his previous successes, as the field would be combined together. Doing
so, he began with the 250 C class, where he would fight heart, in arguably one of the deepest divisions of the day. Battling inside the top ten, he would walk away on the final lap with a noteworthy, ninth place. And then he would move to the 450 machine, where a seventh place would be noted in the 450 C Limited division. He was truly establishing his groove, as the week went on, making sure that his starts were dialed in and he was efficient with his passing. Knowing
sweep of a division. Every lap, and instant of the race for that matter, must be one of pure focus and intensity, never letting anyone
slip by within the span of the segment. Mr. Fitzgerald wanted all of the above, knowing that if he could just get out of the gate and have a clear track ahead, he could rally to win it all in the classes he signed up for. And the stars would align, in the 450 C Limited division. The number 541 looked poised from the get-go, showing his wheel to the field has he made his way out to a lead. Jumping from outside to inside, his lines would be pieced together in perfect fashion, as the crowd looked on with sound attention.
