RESULTS DONOT LIE
trip worth while, it was though the Kawasaki machine of his was in constant rotation of this Gatorback racing surface. He would come out swinging, having only one second in his line of first moto’s, claiming three wins in the process. A seventh in the second moto of the 40+ was solid, but something he knew he could build off of in the latter stages of the week. The first moto victory would help settle the overall of the division, giving him
a fourth in his first combined outing. Next
up was the Senior 45+, where he wanted
to address the issue of his “vet” status. His riding style was nothing of old, or out dated technique. He possessed the shear speed to draw anyone’s attention in the crowd, and could still whip and scrub the machine like the youth of today. With innovation and guts that were presented, he would round out the top three of this final moto, tallying third
demanded attention every time she stepped foot behind the line. With her sporty number 30 Yamaha machine, her set-up was as factory as they come, and would honestly frighten a few competitors before they ever even fired their engines. She would load the gate all week, expecting one thing and one thing only; that of championships, something she’s been all too familiar with over the
past couple of years. Choosing to follow the trend of recent memory, she not only signed up to compete in the Women (12+) class, but the 250 Pro divisions as well! Forgoing the intermediate or novice dominated male ranks, she wanted it all, truly showing her courageousness and belief in herself when climbing aboard the machine. She enjoyed the thrill of racing the top male prospects in the sport, giving her a bit of a trial run before she set sail on the division of her own. And
the strategy would work, as she would come in aggres- sive as ever, chasing down the likes of Hannah Hodges. After a solid first moto out- ing, she would be trailing only Hannah Hodges to be- gin. Second on lap number three, she would actually set the fastest lap of the moto, before a mishap would push her back to eighth place. Rather than letting the moto slip away though, she would put every ounce of energy into salvaging the moto. And she would do so, climbing up to fourth, where she would place overall. She would then eye the moto- cross
track
as an adrenaline outlet, a
place to let go of her rage and fury. It was here, where all the stars would align and she would walk away feeling as though she had displayed her
full potential. After
an applaud worthy ride in the first moto (taking a spectacular win) she hoped to put on another display
of performing, with another victory to back it up. And she would do so, setting the fastest lap of the moto

on lap two, all the while reeling in the leader of Hodges. She would stalk the Kawasaki, waiting precisely for the right time to pounce. It was an effort like no other, where on the last lap, with the clock winding down, she would strike. Putting fear in the eyes of all, she would overtake the lead, and gravitate toward a remarkable championship effort!
HANNAH HODGES
Hannah Hodges as been at the pinnacle
of Women’s motocross for quite some time now. Winning the likes of Loretta Lynn’s, Spring Championships, Monster Cup ap- pearances, you name it, and the young woman out of Deland, Florida has done it. She truly is a modern day pioneer in the game, and with riders like her and Jordan Jarvis leading the way, they’re setting a tone in the sport that’s unprecedented. She too, like Jarvis, has decided to challenge herself in new ways, rather than just displaying efforts of dominance. She has placed her name in the hat for not only the College Boy divisions, but the A classes as well. With
not a care in the world, or fear of what the aggressive male attitude might convey on the track, she holds her own with surging amounts of professionalism. Rubbing elbows and scraping plastic when she needs to, she has no fear or doubt about her, when twist- ing the throttle. After battling inside the top twenty and fifteen in the male classes, she was ready to unleash her dominance on the Women’s 12+ division of Supercross. She knew who the favorites would be, so her first task at hand was to get off the gate and seal off the likes of Jarvis, Allred, and Canfield. She would do so, allowing carnage to take

overall for the record book of Senior 45+. His last showing of the week, would be placed
in the Vet 35+ class, where it was Ginolfi, Grewe, and himself showing out for the field. Andy Mathieu though, wanted to show him
a wheel or two for the last round, and they began to battle. With a swapping of green and white plastic, back and forth the number 53 and 444 machines would go. It would
be an extraordinary effort by both riders, with Pamart taking the highly touted second place, strong enough for second overall.
JORDAN JARVIS
“Flying J” was in full force as she rolled into the premises of the 2018 Winter Olympic Na- tionals, here at Gatorback Cycle Park. One of the strongest names in all of motocross, regardless of male or female, her presence
