RESULTS DONOT LIE
weather the storm, as this was one of the few SX courses he’d ridden thus far in his lifetime. Looking like a seasoned veteran, his finishes of both a sixth and ninth place, would put him in ninth place overall once all was said and done. In all honesty though, the motocross track is what he was favoring, and anxious for, as time came to race. Sit- ting behind
the starting gate, he visualized getting the holeshot and climb- ing towards a race
win, as he dropped down these humongous hills. Glen Helen’s outdoor national would have nothing on this track
in his eyes,
and he
would con-
quer this
terrain as if it were as smooth as a freeway. Pulling the initial holeshot, the rear end of his chassis would fishtail a bit off the line, but he would keep the throttle pinned, straightening it back out. Looking to hold the lead as long as he good, he and second place Camden Scoggin, would battle it out for all to see. Never budging an inch, Scoggin would make his way around, pushing the pace in a dyer effort of charging. Cain, now second, would go on to claim the runner-up spot, excited
for the finale of the week. Much like the first moto, the starting technique of Kash was
on point, where he would bolster off the line and to the front of the field. Never waver-
ing or being scared of who was behind, he would rattle off one consistent lap after the other. And the circuits would begin to add up, slowly but surely pushing him to the white flag. He would have to hold on for just one more time around, and the championship would be his. And he would do it! Taking a remarkable first place, and a title inscribed to his name forever!
CAMDEN SCOGGIN
From the hills of Mount Juliet, Tennesee, Camden Scoggin and family traveled to the state of Florida, missing their annual Thanks- giving festivities at home. Loading up the
truck with every piece of equipment imagin- able, along with a Cobra 50cc machine, they headed south, ready to rock and roll for the week. Contending the likes of multiple 51cc (4-6) classes, they knew what would be in store for them upon entering the gates. With fellow southerners including Kash Cain and Colt Martin signing up alongside him, he
knew his “A” game would have to be brought, in order to generate strong finishes. Not only would he make his parents proud rid- ing to the best of his abilities, but hope- fully, with results that were strong enough, he would
generate some sponsorship accruals for the 2019 season. With the help of mom and dad, he would head to the line for his first moto
of the week, in the aforementioned 51cc (4-6) Limited class. Looming near the top five for quite some time, he decided to get the Cobra into serious gear, with a couple of moves in the last few laps. Residing in fourth as the last lap came
about, he would cross the line knowing he’d done well enough to remain within podium contention in regards to the overall. He would then duplicate his finish of the first moto, again hover-
ing near the top five for the majority of the race. With laptimes not far off of the lead- ers, he would continue powering his locomo- tive through every rut, bump, and berm that the track provided. On the white flag lap, he would acknowledge the applause from his

mechanic, and it would propel him forward to the final stripe. Accumulating another fourth place finish, he would be satisfied with his showing throughout Supercross contention. Next up, would be the motocross portion of the event, where he could grab a handful of throttle with the Cobra, and take it to near top speed. It was an idea he enjoyed, and he would come out of the first moto looking to take aim on the field. An impressive run in the early going, he would make his way into the lead and look to pull a bit of a gap. He would do so, and the young man from Ten- nessee would be absolutely ecstatic about his win! For the final moto of the week, a second place start would put him just behind the leader. And actually moving into the front of the field, he would take the lead with one lap to go. However, an unfortunate mistake would push him back to fourth, but he would still give it all he had to the bitter end. Claim- ing an astonishing second overall, he would generate tons of praise from his family and friends, and it was definitely warranted and deserved.
MASON RAYNOR
Letting his dominance “rain” on the divisions in which he entered, young Mason Raynor eyed the Winter Olympics in Gainesville, Florida, for many months in advance. Know- ing that it was an event that targeted all
skill levels, he figured the track would be as rough as they come, in order to truly test the abilities of the top competitors. Therefore, day in and day out, he was riding the bumpi- est and most rutted tracks he could find. Never wanting the local tracks to prep and manicure, he figured that if he could practice
