you could conquer some of these gigantic gaps, you could really gain a heap of time on the field. Contesting five different classes in the Supercross portion of the event (both 65 and 85cc) he wouldn’t have any result in the first moto’s, outside of the top ten. He wanted to continue this streak, regardless of how big the bike was, or fast the competition would be as they revved their engines for the gate drop. Looking to start the run-off’s on the right foot, Wood would solidify his position on the 85cc machine, with a ninth overall. It was then on to the array of 65cc classes,

Wood ventured into the motocross portion of the event, gunning for podium finishes. Com- ing away with a fourth, second, and third overall in his opening moto’s, he knew that if he was able to duplicate his first race efforts, he would be in great contention for hardware coming time for the final flag to wave. Bat- tling with the hottest names in the sport, he would enter the (10-11) Limited class first, where he would be amongst the lead group from the get go. Running a surging pace,
a final running position of third, would put him into third overall, tying a bronze medal around his neck. Feverishly itching for a silver medal, he would line up for the 65cc (10-11) and (7-11) group, salivating at the thought of more podium finishes. Presenting all effort on the track for each individual run- off, he too would be rewarded for his hard work and resilient character; two second place finishes would be granted, pushing him into the runner-up overall, in both classes respectively.
WILL CANAGUIER
From the lands of Steel City and High Point, comes that of Will Canaguier, a Pennsylva- nia native heading south for this particular week of holiday festivities. Foregoing the normal act of sitting around the table with turkey, he wanted to carve up the series of tracks here, rather than stuff his belly full of potatoes and dessert. Although he hoped to be rewarded with some of his favorite treats by weeks end, he envisioned the thought
of trophies and medals, rather than pie and brownies. Being an athlete through and through, Canaguier had been working hard
throughout the 2018 season both on and off the bike, prep- ping with serious exer- cises and monitoring nutritional content. Although at a young age, he took his craft very seriously, hoping to train hard enough through the week,
so that the races would actually be the easiest portion of the season. Planning to dethrone the competition, he would line up for a variety of 65cc
classes, sporting a number 708 Husqvar- na. Ready to take
aim at the field, he would pan the startling line back and forth, prior to his first moto departure. Generat- ing a plethora of top finishes throughout the first motos of both motocross and super- cross, he really began to turn up the heat once the racing had moved to the outdoor side of things; he was wanting to make sure everyone in atten- dance knew who he was, and the amount

of raw speed he carried. Whipping and flashing the sides of his bike to the crowd, he was displaying an amount of charisma that was only rivaled by the professionals on television. It would work, as his confidence would only grow, putting him with a sixth, third, and first place finish throughout his first moto scores respectively. Walking away with a solid ninth place finish to conclude his second moto of 65cc (7-11) competition, his ninth overall would be satisfactory, but he yearned for more. It would all come together in the (7-9) Limited class, where exceptional starts and flawless laps would be him just in the spot he needed to be as the laps would dwindle down. Never one to follow, the number 708 would be weaving from outside to inside, doing everything he could to pull away from the pack behind him. And then he would accomplish what he came here to do; reaching for the stars, this number one plate would be his after taking the win, being crowned champion of the 65cc (7-9) Limited class!
EVRETT CLARKE
Leaving the high desert and salt flats of Utah, the resident of Levi, Utah wanted to bring the sheer speed his state was notori- ous for, with him to the 2018 Winter Olym- pics here in Gainesville, Florida. A place where the professionals of the past and today have come and gone, Evrett hoped to generate success that was unprecedented to his past results. Riding a series of classes throughout both Supercross and motocross, the number 926 KTM looked to soar to new heights once the events for the Thanksgiv- ing holiday week concluded. With a series of
