LUKE RENZLAND
Breaking his collarbone in the opening round in Atlanta, Luke Renzland has come back swinging since his return in Indianapolis. Luckily for Luke, he only had to miss three rounds due to the extra
week during the west coast round in Santa Clara, allowing him to come back for round five. He was able to take full advantage of the week off, too, as he returned in full force to finish the race in 10th. Following Indianapolis, Renzland had some difficulties in St. Louis and finished fifth in the last chance qualifier, missing the main by one spot. He bounced back for Foxborough, though, improving upon his best finish of the year in earning 9th place at the first race in Gillette Stadium. Utilizing the points in both Indy and Foxborough, including the one point he earned in Atlanta, Renzland now sits in 21st overall, a mere two points outside of the top twenty. He may not be well-known but Luke, after finishing 11th in 2015, continues to make a name for himself with quiet, competitive finishes. Having to swallow the time missed, the Cycletrader.com/Rock River #46 Yamaha and Luke Renzland came to round eight looking for as many points as he could get before the two coasts duke it out in Las Vegas.
