BENNY BLOSS
Benny Bloss emerged onto the pro ranks rather quietly this season but has made his fair share of noise. He began the season aboard a CycleTrader.com/Rock River Yamaha 250 and put in some quality rides. He was on the verge of the top ten when the season headed into Toronto and
he broke through with force. He got a great start and battled in and around the top five ultimately ending up in seventh but it marked his best career finish. He has also had some bad luck in the mains with crashes and bad starts but that didn’t hide his potential from BTO Sports KTM when they were looking for a 450 fill in rider for Davi Millsaps. They offered Bloss a ride for the last three rounds and he jumped at the opportunity. Bloss is a big, tall kid so the 450 is a much better fit and really complements his style which is why many thought he would start his career aboard the bigger machine. Nonetheless, with limited time on the bike he debuted in Foxboro but came up JUST short to making his first main event on a 450 in as many tries. Maybe he can elevate his game in the Big Apple this weekend after some experience and more seat time during the week.
