Tyler Bowers has not had the most memorable season aboard his Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki. He entered the 250 SX East season as a favorite after some stellar rides the past two years after Mitch Payton signed him after a dominant AMA Arenacross career. But injuries and ailments held him back from the start here in 2016. He was not at full potential when the season began due
to lingering effects of a back issue and still recovering from the ever so dreaded Epstein Barr Virus he was diagnosed
with last year. Despite all those ailments however, Bowers has managed to
put together a pretty solid season. He’s always in or around the front of the pack but has just struggled late in the races. His season best is a fourth and his worst was his lone finish outside the top ten at eleventh. With the season coming to a close, Bowers will look to try and finally get back onto the podium where he belongs.
It has been a long road for him this season but he will do his best to end it with a bang.
