JERMEMY MARTIN
Jeremy Martin has had an interesting supercross career. The Millville prospect has had some of the biggest ups and downs we have seen. Last year he failed to make the main events at the first two rounds! It definitely came as a shocker because he was one of the title contenders coming in after
winning the 250 outdoor motocross championship in convincing fashion. But he rebounded afterwards finishing no worse than fourth and even capturing a race win. Martin won the outdoor championship again last year and looked to be the one to beat in the 250 East this season but has endured another up and down season so far. It would be Déjà vu but his downs have been nowhere near as low as a season ago. He had back-to-back rough nights in Detroit and Indianapolis with thirteenth and twenty- first place finishes and those have severely hurt his title chances despite two race wins. He certainly has the speed but crashes and bad starts have held him back from more wins. With the championship likely out of reach, Martin will look to play spoiler and try and notch his first career win in East Rutherford, New Jersey after failing to do so in his first two appearances.
