After having his best career finish a week ago in Foxborough, Vann Martin came into New Jersey with confidence. @vannman421 was running 8th place early in his heat race but unfortunately got tangled up with another rider, dropping him to last place and forcing him to
the LCQ. With one last chance to make it to the main event, a good start was needed. The Honda of Houston rider was sitting on the bubble after turn 1 and things started to happen fast for the privateer. Moving from fourth to 8th in just a couple of laps was not what Vann had in mind. The rider from Houston Texas battled hard on that last lap but got taken down again and finished up 19th. Vann unfortunately had to watch the main event from the grand stands instead of his bike this weekend but there is still time for redemption in Vegas.
