>> After finishing only one spot outside of the top three last weekend at Budd’s Creek, I’m sure that Jeremy Martin arrived in Crawfordsville, Indiana hungry to end the season with a spot on the podium. Things were looking promising for the GEICO Honda rider after the gates dropped for first moto and he came ricocheting out of
the first corner with the Holeshot. Misfortune quickly struck for Jeremy Martin though when on the first lap, he went down pretty hard after the sand rollers and was sent back to the eleventh place spot. The Minnesota native needed to find his inner fire and start charging if he wanted to redeem the spots that he had lost. Lap after rough- ening lap, Martin was only able to regain three positions and he finished the race
in eighth place. After a challenging first moto, Jeremy Martin knew that the second moto was literally his last chance of the entire season to get the results that he truly wanted. With perfect 80-degree weather and limitless possibilities, the riders were ready to take Ironman by storm. The gates dropped and Jeremy Martin found himself in a solid fourth place spot coming out of the first turn behind Aaron Plessinger in second. Jeremy Martin soon moved into third place after a gnarly crash took Pless- inger down. Martin stayed focused all the way to the checkered flag and was able to finish the second moto in third place. With an 8-3, Jeremy Martin left Indiana with a fourth place overall and an awesome second place finish in the points standings for the season.
