>> Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha’s Mitchell Harrison has impressing us all season with his consistent finishes within the top 15 at almost every round. After a tenth place overall finish at Budd’s Creek, Mitchell Harrison arrived in Indiana looking for another solid finish to end his season on a high note. The number 45 machine lined up amongst his competitors; ready to take advantage of the very last first 250 moto of the year. The thirty-second board went up and the gates dropped. The sounds
of revving motors weaved throughout the spectator filled hills and Mitchell Harrison came flying out of the first corner in tenth place. Quickly capitalizing on his decent start, Harrison starting passing early and by the second lap, he had worked his way up to seventh place. Mitchell Harrison was not ready to stop in seventh though; he was ready for a top five. After a mistake by Sexton and heated battle with Cantrell, Harrison was able to move into fifth place by the time the checkered flag flew. Hop- ing to do it again in the second moto, Harrison flew off the gate and exited the rut riddled first corner in the seventh place position. Mitchell Harrison gave it all he had on the notoriously rough track, but lost a couple of spots before the end of the race. With a 5-8 for the day, Harrison left Indiana with an awesome fifth place overall fin- ish and ninth place in overall points standings for the year. I think this is only the tip of the iceberg for the talented Mitchell Harrison and I think he’s bound to impress everyone once again the next time he lines up.
