>> The BTO Sports KTM went out on a limb in 2016 by giving rookie Benny Bloss a spot on their team in 450 class but Benny proved to everyone that his 450 speed is world class and that he has the potential to be a competitor for years to come. Benny did this by turning his season around at the midway point last year and started to click off multiple top ten and top five results. Bloss got a total of 228 points that season and finished 6th in the standings just a single point behind Nicoletti for 5th. When a rookie does that in the
250 class people are amazed but when a rookie does that in the premier class people get shocked. Unfortunately Bloss has been sidelined for most of season and only rejoined the series at the 8th round at the Spring Creek national.
Benny was looking to get his Rocky Mountain ATV/MC- KTM – WPS rac- ing machine inside of the top ten this weekend in Indiana after getting two 11th place finishes last weekend at Budds Creek. Benny, A.K.A Baby giraffe started just outside of the top ten in 11th in race one and was battling with Noren and Bisceglia for a top ten position. Bloss took 10th from Bisceglia and proceeded to make his way by Barcia and Craig to get im in 8th. Bloss then put the pressure on Peick for a few laps for 7th but couldn’t make
the pass. While trying to make a move on Peick, the #34 of Bloss made a mistake and Barcia and Craig made their way back around the KTM rider. @ bbloss34 regained his composure and got the positions back in later stages of the race to give him 8th in race one giving him a good chance of having his best overal finish of the season. Benny started 14th in moto two where he stayed for the first half of the race. Big Rig Bloss put on a charge in the sec- ond half and began to make his way around Bisceglia, Barcia and others on route towards the top 10. Sadly Benny got some bad luck in the final stages of the race that dropped him from 10th all the way back to 28th.
