>> Getting a great jump out of the gate for his heat race, Ferrandis claimed the holeshot and was sitting in first place. Trying to hold onto his position was proving to be a hard task with Joey Savatgy putting the heat on behind him. Unable to hold him off, Ferrandis fell back to second. Riding out the rest of the heat race he was looking smooth heading into the main event. Coming
off a successful heat race, Ferrandis looked confident as he rocketed out of the gate and to the first turn of the main event. Avoiding the massive pile up behind him, he came around the turn around 9th place. After Bowers slips back, he moves up a position and into 8th place. Than Jordan Smith takes a hard hit moving him up another position in 7th. Riding strong, the Star Racing Yamaha rider was looking at home on the Vegas track layout, stealing an- other pass he moved into 6th. With less than half the race left he passed one of the points leaders for 5th. Getting closer and closer to the podium he was on fire. He snuck into 4th with just a few minutes to go and even into 3rd for
a brief moment. Unable to keep 3rd place he finished off the final main event of the year in a well deserved fourth place position. He finished off the season points in a comfortable 5th place overall.
