MaIn event 9: 250 a / pro Sport
During the course of the 250 A Pro Sport main event, fans were lucky enough to witness several racers take a turn in the lead. Marshal Weltin got out to an early lead until moving back on lap three when Team Green Kawasaki’s Mitchell Harrison swooped into the lead. Harrison pushed on for five laps until the #44 KTM ride
of Daniel Baker stepped up to the plate bashing into the lead and keeping it held wide until he saw the black and white flag waving! Overcoming a great deal of adversity this weekend, it was a hard earned win for the Kentucky Kid. “My lens actually popped out down
the first straight away, that certainly got things rolling in the right direction haha. I couldn’t see the whole moto because of a small opening letting dirt in but the longer motos definitely played in my favor after the poopy start. We just put our head down and started clicking off laps. I really had to be focused this weekend. I got
sick Sunday morning and was throwing up in between motos and had the sweats all night Sunday night. Not to mention the diarrhea, oh the diarrhea!” Mitchell Harrison’s second place finish added yet another impressive notch on his already golden 2015 resume. Darian Sanayei also kept his 2015 steam boiling as he snuck in behind his Team Green teammate for third place overall. MPG DIGITAL 19
