While the circuit was away on the east coast, 250 west riders had time to train; revisiting and minimalizing mistakes – pushing themselves to pick up the speed
needed to grab extra points toward the 250 west championship. Finding himself some- what in the middle of the points rankings, 250 rider Cole Thompson is focused on scrounging up every point he can to crawl up through the rankings. After a devastating crash during his week of practice, Thompson will have to find those points at another race.... He wouldn’t be swinging a leg over his bike at Santa Clara.
