Alex Martin started his night out strong with a killer start in his heat race. Passing for first right away. Riding a consistent race until he hit a tough block almost taking himself and Osbourne out. Luckily he didn’t go down, but he did lose his lead. Martin finished his heat race with a 2nd place, moving onto the main. Once again the Yamaha rider got a good start jumping into third on the first lap. Martin passed Harrison moving himself into second. He rides several laps in second before losing it to Webb. Not long after he was passed Savatgy followed suit, putting Martin back another spot. Now in 4th with only one third of the race to go, he makes a mistake and falls all the way back to 10th with less then five laps to go. He finishes the main event off in 9th.
