Jake Leahey started the season off slow at Road Atlanta with a couple of finishes just inside the top ten. He put in a better qualifying performance for the second round of action at VIRginia International Raceway and ended up riding to a spectacular fourth place finish in the opening race of the weekend, proving what he’s capable of as he came out on top of a grueling battle. Unfortunately, he made a mistake in the second race that cost him valuable points, but the New Jersey native still remains tenth in the championship heading into Road America. >>
