>> The state of Pennsylvania is on seemingly an illustrious high at the present- day moment, as their Pittsburgh Penguins have just been crowned champions of the NHL. Thriving in the cold, depths of the frigid arena, Penguin’s fans flock to the idea of battle and true warrior like spirit. Aaron Plessinger wanted to incor- porate that into his antics on the track this weekend, and it was apparent from the get-go. Pushing both bike and body to the limit, the way he was launching into the multiple sections of chop was absurd, at times the front fender scrap- ing the tread of the tire. Giving a nod to his mechanic after he placed his fastest lap, he had solidified himself into the main event, and was ready to get things underway. With a slightly high rear sprocket, the team wanted to get a solid jump off the line, and be quick to accelerate out of the turns. It worked; he pushed into the opening bend, almost heading the front of the field, trailing Jeremy Martin in the first few sequences. He would hold steady, albeit pressure from the number 16. Looking to utilize his experience in the GNCC ranks, his rut-tasking skills were apparent, slicing and dicing through the crusted soil. Osborne had other plans, pushing his way around on the way to the lead, but AP would reiterate to team owner’s why he should be signed, finishing third. The second round saw AP again come off the line with an uncharacteristic like start, almost taking the lead but staying in the top spots. Dicing heavily with Jeremy Martin, the former national champ would work his way around; but not without AP sitting front row in the class of lecture. Studying every move he made, he would catch onto the furious pace, and stay there, bringing home a solid ride in third, making the sponsors proud.
