>> Rocky Mountain ATV/MC KTM rider Dakota Alix has proved himself in the 450 class thus far in the outdoor Motorcross Series. Still making adjustments and accumulating to the new competition Alix has stayed confident throughout the first three rounds. Com- ing off a 15th overall position from Thunder Valley in Colorado Dakota qualified 19th at High Point Raceway. The newly changed track in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania would pose as a challenge for all the riders though. Everyone would have to adjust to the completely new terrain. Alix put his head down and the first gate dropped. Getting caught mid pack in 18th the racers drift around the new first sweeper. Trying to take advantage of the deep ruts and mud the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC KTM rider passed rider af- ter rider gaining the 15th position for moto number one of the 450 class. After learning the track and its new layout Dakota came into the second race with a vengeance. Storming out of the gate Alix took 13th as they headed around the redefined start at High Point. Minute after minute passes and the Rocky Mountain ATV/ MC KTM rider holds his spot as he pushed through rut after rut. The tough track didn’t hold Dakota back as he made his way to the finish line and takes 13th overall.
