A very fashion-forward mummy has been dis- covered in Mongolia. Many others actually believe it to be a case of time travel. We will let you decide.
According to The Sun, scientists recently exca- vated the mummified hands and feet of a woman - estimated to be nearly 1,500 years old - in the region of the Altai Mountains.
But what has really got everyone talking is the pair of Adidas sneakers found on the woman.
The trademark stripes reminiscent of the shoe brand is hard to miss:
The discovery has led Twitterati into a fit of frenzy, fuelling talks of actual time travel:
The archaeologists, how- ever, seem unfazed. Presumably deciding to stay away from conspira- cy theories, they only discussed more pertinent information.
According to them, the Turkik burial - where the corpse was found buried with a saddle, bridle, vase made of clay, wooden bowl, trough,
iron kettle, and a horse - will shed more light on the details of the Mongolian life that was.
