On Plane During
International Flight
By Lee Brown
A frequent flier was found dead in her seat just hours into a 16- hour trip home to Australia after a Las Vegas vacation, reports said.
Cabin crew on the Qantas flight from California to Melbourne had to quickly move several other passen- gers after Aleisha Tracy, 33, died about three hours after takeoff
Sunday, accord- ing to the Daily Mail Australia.
“I can’t under- stand how hard it must be for them,” a female passenger told the website. “They were very compassionate with everyone.”
Loved ones called Tracy
“happy and healthy” and are “completely at a loss” over her death, according to the report.
She had posted photos of her US trip — including shots of Las Vegas and her Qantas boarding pass — and was planning a trip to New York
later this year.
“You were a one of a kind friend who was always there,” close friend David Loiteron posted online. “I am truly blessed to have known you. Thank you for such a beau- tiful friend. I will miss you.”
Another friend,
Jessica Van de Leur, wrote, “I have no words... the sudden loss of such a beautiful young and vibrant soul.”
Former room- mate Yeshe Grace remem- bered a “gener- ous and bubbly” woman with a “larger than life personality and
the sweetest heart you could ever hope to meet.”
A Qantas spokesperson told Yahoo News that they were “very grateful” to two doctors who helped on board the flight from Los Angeles.
Victoria Police in
Australia are awaiting post- mortem exami- nation results to determine Tracy’s cause of death, according to Yahoo News.
Tracy’s family declined to com- ment to the Daily Mail.
