McDonald's Testing All-Day Breakfast On Stoner Holiday
You can now get an Egg McMuffin breakfast even after 10.30 am if you are in San Diego. Fast food giant McDonald's Corp. will begin testing all-day break- fast menu at select loca- tions in San Diego, starting Monday, April 20.
While the all-day breakfast menu will be available at nearly 100 locations in San Diego, the launch date coincides with 4/20, the annual celebration of all things pot-related. It is not clear for how long the all- day breakfast experiment will be run. But if success- ful, the experiment may be continued in San Diego for an extended period.
McDonald's typically stops serving breakfast menu at 10:30 a.m. on weekdays and 11:00 am on week- ends, as its grills are sup- posedly not big enough to cook both breakfast and lunch items at once.
San Diego's all-day break- fast menu is limited to nine items and McCafé drinks.
Customers can get McMuffins, hash brown and hotcakes, sausage burrito, oatmeal and yoghurt all day. Meanwhile, McGriddles, egg and
cheese bagels, and cakes and steak have been cut off the menu.
In late March, media reports had indicated that
McDonald's planned to serve its breakfast menu for the whole day at select locations, starting in the next few months.
