Fred lost one of his arms in an accident. He became very depressed because he had loved to play golf.
One day in despair he decided to commit sui- cide.
Hetookalifttothetopof a very tall building, intending to jump off. He was standing on the ledge looking down when on the pavement far below he saw a man skipping along, whistling and kicking up his heels.
Fred looked more closely and saw that the man had no arms at all. He started thinking: what am I doing up here feeling sorry for myself? I still have one good arm to do things with. There goes a man with no arms, skip- ping down the pavement, perfectly happy, getting on with his life.
He hurried down and caught up with the man with no arms. He told him how glad he was to see him because he had lost one of his arms and felt ugly and useless and had been going to kill himself.
"You saved my life. If you can go on with no arms, I can make it with one!"
The man with no arms began dancing and whistling and kicking up his heels again. Fred asked, "Why are you so happy, anyway?" "I'm not happy," replied the man. "My balls itch.”
A man has to leave the country on business and he entrusts with his best
friend the job of keeping an eye on his wife. If anything out of the ordi- nary should occur, he was to be notified imme- diately.
After about a week of no news the business man received a telegram: "The man who comes to visit your wife every night didn't show up yester- day..."
When Bill and Hillary first got married Bill said, "I put a box under the bed. Promise me you will never to look in it." In all their 30 years of mar- riage, Hillary never looked. On the afternoon of their 30th anniversary, curiosity got the best of her and she lifted the lid and peeked inside. In it were 3 empty beer cans and $81,874.25 in cash.
She closed the box and put it back under the bed. Now that she knew what was in the box, she was doubly curious as to why there was such a box and with those con- tents. That evening, they were out for a special anniversary dinner. After dinner, Hillary could no longer contain her curiosity and she con- fessed, saying, “I'm so sorry, Bill. For all these years, I kept my promise and never looked into the box under our bed. However, today the temptation was too much andIgavein.ButnowI need to know, why do you keep the 3 beer cans in the box?”
Bill thought for a while and said, "I guess after all these years you deserve to know the
truth. Whenever I was unfaithful to you, I put an empty beer can in the box under the bed to remind myself not to do it again.” Hillary was shocked, but thought, "Hmmm, Jennifer, Paula and Monica. And since I know he is addicted to sex, three times is not too bad.”
She said, ”OK Bill, I guess I can forgive you.” Bill thanked her for being so understanding. They hugged and made their peace. A little while later Hillary asked Bill, "So why do you have all that money in the box?”
He answered, "Well, whenever the box filled up with empty cans, I took them to the recy- cling center."
The father of five chil- drenhadwonatoyata raffle. He called his kids together to ask which one should have the present.
"Who is the most obedi- ent?" he asked. "Who never talks back to moth- er? Who does everything she says?"
Five small voices answered in unison. "Okay, daddy, you get the toy."
My wife just called me.
She said, "Three of the girls in the office have just received some flow- ers for Valentines Day. They are absolutely gor- geous."
I said, "Well that's proba- bly why they've received flowers then."
