Brazilian Beauty Looks Eerily Like Disney Frozen Princess Elsa
A Brazilian vet's porce- lain good looks gives her an eery resemblance to Disney's Frozen Elsa - but she admits her doll- like face TERRIFIES some people.
Andressa Damiani, 23, from Blumenau, Brazil, boasts similar facial fea- tures tom the princess and wears contact lens- es that mimic the wide- eyed doll stare.
She has found fame in her native country with passers-by on the street calling her ' Elsa ' because of her resem- blance to the character in the animated mega- hit.
However, Andressa claims that she is so scarily doll-like that she sometimes frightens people on the street.The vet claims that she achieves her walking- talking doll looks with minimal make-up, no dieting or exercise.
She says: "For as long as I remember I have always looked like a doll. I hardly wear any heavy make-up on a daily basis, I don't diet and I walk my dogs for exer- cise.
"I like resembling a doll and I receive many love- ly messages from fans. But I get lots of criticism too.
"People tell me they're afraid of me because I look so much like a doll. They're so scared if they see me walking down the street at night that they run away in the other direction."
As a child, Andressa was very shy with no
friends to speak of. She was often alienated by her classmates because of her unusual, ethereal looks.
She said: "Growing up, I was very shy and quiet. I had almost no friends and spent most my time alone with my miniature dolls.
"I always looked very child-like and had dolly facial features. I never developed like other girls and it led me to become a very insecure teenag- er."
"It became very common for people to say that I looked like a doll and I felt awkward about this fact.
However when Andressa reached her twenties,
she decided to embrace her appearance.
"I realized that it was time to highlight the human doll features that I had, rather than fit in with the common beauty standards that I could never reach," she added.
"I started wearing con- tact lenses and eye make-up to help create a stronger illusion of a doll.
"I also started wearing cute clothes that in my favorite colors - pastel pink, sky blue and lilac.
"Looking like a human doll has helped my self- esteem. Feeling pretty and confident is impor- tant and not as futile as some may think. I feel pretty this way."
In 2012, Andressa start- ed making YouTube videos about her life and her appearance. She quickly gained a devoted fan base in Brazil as well as almost 80,000 follow- ers on Instagram.
Andressa also appeared on Brazilian television shows and was befriend- ed by other human Barbies such as Russia's infamous Valeria Lukyanova.
Andressa - who is in a relationship - says: "I love when people com- pare me to dolls or Disney's Elsa on the street now. I really identi- fy with her character.
"And I am friends with Valeria and some of the other human Barbies. They are very friendly and sweet."
But Andressa also gets abuse for her unusual looks.
"People don't believe me when I say I have never had any plastic surgery and they think I starve myself because I'm so thin. They call me a liar.
"I've also had strangers told me they are disgust- ed to look at my face and they fear me when they see me walk by.
"People run away when they see me. People think I'm insane and I only care for beauty but they shouldn't be afraid.
"I want to show the world that everyone can be a doll. You don't have to be skinny or blonde - just create your own look and be happy!"
