Dumbass Blows Up His Foot
Trying To Make Upskirt
Videos With Shoe Camera
By Samantha Cole
A man nearly blew his damn foot off while try- ing to take upskirt photos of women in Madison, Wisconsin on Thursday, when the battery on his shoe camera mal- functioned.
He turned himself in to the Madison West Police District station after seeking treatment for minor injuries to his foot, accord- ing to police chief Michael Koval’s blog:
“The subject reported he had purchased a shoe camera that he intended to use to take 'upskirt' videos of females, but the camera battery had exploded prior to obtaining any video, injur- ing the subject's foot. The subject was counseled on his actions and released from the scene as no illicit
video had been taken. Investigation con- tinuing.”
Upskirts are pho- tos or video taken of another person nonconsensually, usually in public, using cell phone cameras or other covert means, like a shoe cam- era. There are whole forums online where peo- ple trade upskirts.
There was no evi- dence of the man actually recording any video with the camera, so the police gave him a talking-to about the conse- quences—in Wisconsin, seri- ous felony charges—and let
him go.
A spokesperson for the City of Madison police department told me in a phone call that they did- n’t have any more details on what kind of camera he was using, or the extent of his injuries, since he came in after the incident.
“The real twist of the story is that he comes in and tells us about it,” he said. “I can’t speak to his moti- vation on that, whether it was his way of dealing with it... But he was provided counseling on the consequences.”
Man Brings Home
Kitten That Turns Out
To Be Bobcat Cub
By Ben Hooper
June 29 (UPI) - - A Minnesota man who found what he thought was a stray kit- ten lost in a parking lot brought it home before discover- ing it was a bob- cat.
Jared Yost said he was working a landscaping job when he spotted the small cat hiding at the edge of a park- ing lot. Yost said he doesn't con- sider himself a cat person, but he decided to take the kitten home to spend the night with his family.
Yost made a vet- erinarian appointment for the next day and bought some soft cat food and kit- ten milk for the baby animal, but that evening his family became suspicious of the loud noises that
did-
n't sound like a domestic cat's meow.
The family did some research online and soon realized the kit- ten was actually a bobcat cub, based on her fur markings and large paws.
Yost contacted the Minnesota Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, which confirmed the bobcat's identity
and
took it to the Wild and Free Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Rescuers said Yost likely pre- vented the cub from being hit by a car when he decided to take it in.
Yost said he and his family are receiving updates from the rehabilitation center on their one-time house guest's progress.
