Other sightings have been ducklings of all three of our local species in the creek, an
occasional Spring visitor, the Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike in Blacks Walk (Wendy),
possibly grey headed flying foxes (heard only), further nesting of Spotted Pardalotes,
Currawongs and Tawny Frogmouths.
By now, most of our readers would know that the Tawny Frogmouth (Podargus
strigoides) is our “signature” bird species in the park. It is a very special favourite and
