This award recognises an account manager who has consistently displayed a high standard of sales professionalism and has a proven record. Entrants will be account representatives or account managers who sell hardware and other building supply products by calling on builders and building companies during a regular call cycle.

Having graduated from trade support and with timber and finance-related experience before that, Sai’s track record as Trade Account manager over the last year is all about significant increases, in new customers and in market share, not to mention his dollar margin growth, which is equally impressive. While Sai himself modestly puts these gains down to sheer hours and hard work, Branch Operator, Mark Moffitt, fills in the gaps when he calls Sai “a genuine hunter” and “incredibly tenacious” and says he’s just had a “fantastic debut year”.

Rob has been achieving “maximum margin dollars from customers who operate a sustainable business model” for Cook
St, in the very heart of construction in
central Auckland, since 2014. Budgetary considerations apart (he surpassed his top and bottom lines by some 30%), Rob says his best achievement in the last year has been managing the successful supply of materials to a 100-home project, from supplier to site, in full and on time, even including compliance in some cases!
