FINALISTS
This award recognises an account manager active in the sector who has consistently displayed a high standard of sales professionalism and has a proven record. Entrants will be account representatives or account managers who sell hardware or building supply products by calling on retail and merchant stores during a regular call cycle.
Stephen Hannan
PASLODE NZ
Stephen maintains no less than 100+ reseller relationships in and around Auckland, as
well as training as many as 60 professional customers at a time in the use and maintenance of their Paslode tools, often on-site, and ensuring resellers and end users are connected to service agents to boot! In recognition of having come up with a new reporting tool for the NZ sales team, Stephen was named one of four 2019 Paslode Segment Peer Award winners across the ANZ territories. Stephen is always “customer first” and a “champion for the brand”.
Craig Lee
CHH WOODPRODUCTS
Craig is Regional Account Manager for CHH Woodproducts timber products in the Top of the South and the West Coast and National Key Account Manager for Goldpine. His key to success? “Always have something of value to offer the customer, never go in empty handed. Never ever leave anything to chance”. In this respect, Craig’s biggest achievement in the last year has been the establishment through a customer of an in-house LVL residential design and take-off service from plans to the final delivery of the flooring or roofing LVL kitset.
Jesse Muir
ROBERT BOSCH
Now in his fourth year with Bosch, highlight
of Jesse’s key account role so far includes getting Bosch Blue products ranged into Bunnings. Having worked hard to prove his case by implementing a range of successful trial activations over the course of a year, it was “a proud moment” he says. Local Bosch Employee of the Year in 2018, armed with what his boss calls his “impeccable management and innovative thinking”, Jesse has been instrumental in shifting the brand’s business from firmly DIY, deep into the professional end user market.
