Hammer time in Bangkok
HAMMER HARDWARE’S BI-ANNUAL
conference was held this year in Bangkok from 11-14 July.
Usually held closer to home (the last conference took place in Fiji), for 2019 Hammer chose a destination where Members could experience a little bit of SouthEastAsia.
The conference theme was “Plan to Win”, with the objective to support owners in their strategic planning with insightful business sessions.
Conference also saw the launch of
a new core range, which will be rolled out over the next six months, and a new People Hub programme which leverages Mitre 10’s training and development programme.

The Hammer Hardware Awards celebrate the top performers within the Hammer Hardware Group across a range of categories.
Says Andre Botes: “This year the performance across stores was really strong, and the top three in each category were often only split by a point or two.
“It is a really positive marker for their professionalism and willingness to succeed in their individual businesses and contribute to the overall success of the Hammer Hardware group.”
