Chris McGirr
ARDEX
This year, Chris McGirr celebrates eight years with Ardex. As Dunlop South Island Key Account manager for the merchant and DIY retailer channels, his performance in the role has been “unsurpassed” says
Jo Leonard, Ardex National Sales Manager, citing substantial territory growth as well as increased market share. Enthusiastic, conscientious, and energetic and with a high level of technical acumen, Chris is also just as happy engaging with specifiers. “We consider ourselves to be fortunate to have Chris,” says Jo.
Martin Wallace
BBI WOOD PRODUCTS
Sales & Marketing Manager Martin Wallace works across Taranaki, the Waikato,
Bay of Plenty, and South Auckland. His philosophy: “The more I can help my customers to sell, the more they will buy.” And by “help” he means understanding their business, training, product knowledge, fixing issues, and finding win/win situations. He’s also a team player, says BBI GM Rowe McGregor, and has played a key role within the BBI team towards achieving “huge” market share growth and developing exclusive products.
Horticom’s South Island Territory Account Manager, Ricardo De Sousa has been an integral part of the Horticom team since he joined in
May 2019, says Horticom GM Grant Larcombe. Ricardo has consistently delivered significant growth at the same time as executing “world class in-store engagement.” Armed with data, Ricardo has supported his stores by identifying trends which drive profits and margin and having forged “significantly strong relationships across his customers, with an acute understanding that everyone within the customer matters.”
