This award recognises outstanding hardware retail stores and home décor retailers.
Mitre 10 MEGA
ALBANY
“To make it through to the final for a second year in a row is a real honour. It is an acknowledgement of the hard work our team puts into identifying and providing our customer’s home improvement needs whilst creating an easy and enjoyable experience.” The team are clearly customer focussed and the store is a great example of the Mitre 10 value “Strive for Excellence and has taken the Mitre 10 MEGA offer to the next level”.
FERRYMEAD
How does it feel to be a Finalist? Ferrymead GM Tony Franc says: “It is an honour. We are proud to be nominated along with some very high-quality hardware retailers.” And the store’s biggest achievement in the last year? “Keeping our quality people – our team turnover has stayed stable during tough times – and being able to maintain high levels of in-stock positions whilst focusing on the customer has been a challenge the team has relished.”
PAPANUI
Director Murray Smith says the Papanui team are “stoked” to make the final list once again. It’s “wonderful recognition for doing a good job and every day doing all those small things, just a little bit better than we did the day before.” High among the store’s key achievements is how well the team have supported each other, despite “an unbelievable number of stress points” at work and
at home.
