PlaceMakers Auckland Hub Manager Chris Fairbairn acknowledges that to come out on top at the Hardware Awards “means a lot to the staff at the branch who have put everything they can into delivering the best customer experience they can. It’s great recognition.”
Chris says the Mt Wellington staff consistently do the basics extremely well, with “a clear focus on customers, and providing them with solutions and getting them back to site (or keeping them onsite) as quickly as possible.”
And the customer experience is only going to get better next year, he says, with the recent changes to the PlaceMakers business model and the new Hub model promising better stock availability, one account across PlaceMakers and freight efficiencies.
