MIKE BISHOP,

GM, is now the
General Manager
at automotive
paint and finishing

operation, Paintsmart Group. Having most recently been Director at Westend Concrete Services, Mike was GM at BuildLink for nudging eight years, from 2012 to 2019, prior to which he was
in technical sales and marketing with the likes of Apco Coatings and Nuplex Resins.
Tony McDrury
has been appointed General Manager Trade Operations for the Riviera Hardware Holdings group of Mitre
10 stores. Tony has extensive industry experience coming from seven years at PlaceMakers as a Branch Operator and most recently as Hub Sales Manager
in Auckland. Says Tony: “I’m looking forward to working with the team and driving growth to leverage the significant investment Riviera has made in our trade offering across our MEGA stores, Riviera Prenail and our most recent addition,
the centralised Riviera Warehouse & Distribution Centre.”

has swapped his GM role of the last three years at Maycroft Construction. By all accounts a keen player himself, Stephen is the new Chief Executive of Badminton New Zealand, the national body responsible for the promotion and development of badminton in New Zealand.
Paul Parker has taken on the role of Sales Manager at SMART New Zealand. Paul will be well known to many in the industry, from his time
with Hitachi and10 successful years with BLACK+DECKER here including launching the DeWalt brand. Having run his own hardware business for seven years he joined Bosch to assist
in the restructuring of the business in New Zealand, helped restructure a large private property developer and then worked with the largest “as seen on TV” companies in Australasia.
Duane Read also changed his shirt colour mid-year this year, from
blue to orange as General Manager Trade Sales at Grove Mitre 10. With Outdure Exterior Solutions for the last year, previously Branch Manager at PlaceMakers Albany and Trade Sales Manager before that, his CV also features a year plus as CHH Woodproducts’ Regional Account manager 2014-2016.

Shayne Graham, Supply Chain Lead, brings many heavily credentialled years of experience in supply chain to this new role for Mitre 10. Shayne comes the Woolworths Group team and
was previously Head of Supply Chain Management with Bunnings, where he led significant strategic initiatives and investments in the supply chain.
Tim Gunn is the co-op’s new Commercial Projects Manager. For the last 7 years, Tim fulfilled GM roles at
The Warehouse Group, mainly around merch and sourcing, prior to which he was Merchandise Manager at Progressive Enterprises, following 5 years at Dick
Smith Electronics and JB Hi-Fi before that.
Celena Harry is Mitre 10 NZ’s
new Chief People Officer, an internal appointment following the departure of Anna Campbell. Celena has been with Mitre 10 for seven months and her career spans 20+ years, predominantly in retail and customer service businesses. Most recently, leadership roles in Vodafone and Spark saw her contributing to significant NPS, eNPS and revenue improvement, across omnichannel sales and service teams based in NZ and offshore. She has also successfully led teams through large scale transformation programmes.
Jason Picard, Chief Customer Experience Officer, has worked in retail for 30+ years, most recently as the Country Manager and Director of Kmart New Zealand. Jason has wide experience within retail having previously managed stores, lead teams across People and Capability as well as Operations across New Zealand and played a significant role in the turnaround of the Kmart NZ business.
Last but not least, Janine Pretty fills the new role of GM Transformation. Armed with 18 years of Mitre 10 experience, immense network credibility and leadership, Janine is tasked with establishing a mandate for transformation, aligning Mitre 10 NZ’s programmes of work with its strategy and ensuring the co-op effectively determines the highest priorities when it comes to implementing and effecting change. Janine has played a vital role in the programme as Transformation Lead for CX and in developing Mitre 10 NZ’s Target Operating Model.
