                                                         Who’s that knocking?
Ring has released a new wire-free video doorbell – Ring Door View Cam – that transforms a traditional door viewer into a smart security device.
Ring Door View Cam is easily installed in place of an existing peephole, includes a glass viewer so the functionality of the door viewer is not lost and does not require drilling or permanent modifications to the door.
Featuring motion detection, two-way talk, 1080p HD video, a removable rechargeable battery, knock detection, privacy zones, and night vision, you simply install the Door View Cam in place of the existing door viewer on each side of the door, then pop in the rechargeable battery (on the inside of the door) and removable cover.
It’s also Amazon Alexa-compatible so you can ask Alexa-enabled devices to “show me my front door,” and be alerted when motion is detected by the Ring Door View Cam in real time.
You can also speak with visitors through your Echo Show, Echo Spot and Fire tablets with Alexa (gen 7+) tablets.

Pet feeding taken up a notch
With pet care a hot category at the moment, this new product may strike a chord.
Sure Petcare has launched its next generation pet feeder, the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect, which monitors the eating behaviour of pets.
The smart feeder monitors how much and when a pet eats, sending real-time updates directly to the pet owner’s –
or pet sitter’s – phone.
Using the Sure Petcare app, pet owners can specify the weight of a food serving for their pet so, every time they add food to the bowl, the integrated scales will weigh the food and LEDs on the front of the feeder will indicate when the correct portion weight has been reached.
