                                                          Our wrappers are
recyclable
We’re often asked what we’re doing to save the trees and why we don’t send our magazines out in recyclable wrapping.
Well, we do but no, we haven’t shouted about it much.
In fact, the soft plastic wrapping our magazines are delivered in can be recycled through the Soft Plastic Recycling Scheme.
See the URL below for where you can find out about the Scheme’s current recycling points...

   Father’s Day Frenzy 2019
OUR ANNUAL FATHER’S Day Frenzy again brought benefits for the Prostate Cancer Foundation and one lucky retailer.
Prostate Cancer Foundation Chief Executive, Graeme Woodside, received the goodies from our own Susan Kennedy, saying he plans to auction off the goods at the Pedal4Prostate event due to take place at Hampton Downs on 13 October (https://pedal4prostate.org.nz/).
Thanks to our 2019 Father’s Day Frenzy suppliers for their generosity: Aerofast; AHM; Allegion; Bostik; CE Lawford; Legrand; Selleys; Toolware Sales; and Weiss.
By the way, the lucky retailer winner who answered the question correctly and therefore snagged the rest of the bounty is BJ Howie who works at ITM Whangarei.

Selleys hopes rats will go nuts over gourmet bait
 SELLEYS, WHO IS
mostly known for its sealants and adhesives, has partnered with premium peanut butter manufacturer, Nut Brothers, to deliver a “double whammy” to rats on Hauraki Gulf islands and in remote rural areas.
Selleys has donated
22,000+ Talon wax
blocks which, along
with 160kg of Nut
Brothers’ award-
winning, locally
roasted, peanut butter,
will be used by Auckland
Council as part of their Pest Free Auckland program in the fight against what has been the biggest beech mast for
over 40 years. Selleys’ Assistant
Brand Manager, Tania Menzies, says that
while some would consider the partnership between rat bait and peanut butter a little
unusual, the exceptional circumstances of a super beech mast calls for exceptional measures.
“When we asked Nut Brothers to help, they were happy to get
involved. We wanted
to lure the rats towards the bait instead of seeds
and wildlife. If it deals with the rat problem more effectively, then it’s
a great result.”
